8th Annual Philanthropy Day Luncheon

Community Foundation of Southern Maryland presents the 8th Annual Philanthropy Day Luncheon, Celebrate Philanthropy in Southern Maryland, Friday, November 1, 11:30 – 1:30 (Doors open at 11 a.m.) at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center.

Paul JollyCFSOMD is pleased to announce this year's Keynote Speaker will be Paul Jolly. Paul Jolly worked as a fundraising professional for over 20 years before starting the consulting firm Jump Start Growth. He began his career serving various Quaker institutions, then moved to The Wilderness Society, and then the American Civil Liberties Union. In every instance, he has zeroed in on gifts from individuals at the top of the giving pyramid. To learn more about Paul Jolly, view his bio.

At this annual event, we recognize the region’s philanthropists by formally inducting them into our Philanthropy Hall of Fame. The philanthropists are selected because of their lifetime commitment to making Southern Maryland the best place to live and give.
